About this collection

The history of buildings on the University of Lethbridge campus is a topic of frequent interest. This digital collection documents the built environment of the University of Lethbridge campus from the ground up, featuring maps, aerial views, architectural drawings and models, and photographs of buildings both under construction and upon completion. In all, the collection contains over 220 photographs in both color and black and white, dating from 1969 to present. The university’s buildings are represented with photographs showing their progress from construction to completion, including University Hall, University Centre for the Arts, the Library and Information Network Building, Markin Hall, the 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness.

The majority of the original pictures and slides are available as part of the University of Lethbridge Archives.

This collection was created by Lorainne Armstrong as part of the requirements for completing an Applied Study under the supervision of Ms. Karen McCallum of the University Library  and the University Archives
